Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 1965년 증류된 스프링뱅크답게 캠벨타운 특유의 짭조름한 미네랄과 묵은 가죽, 꿀 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 30년의 긴 숙성을 거치며 마른 과일과 가벼운 오일, 시트러스의 향이 발전한다. 46도의 팰럿은 기름진 질감으로 입을 채우며 토피와 호두, 은은한 소금기의 풍미가 명확하게 드러난다. 피니시는 묵직하면서 길게 이어지며 가죽과 향신료가 남는다. 올드 스프링뱅크의 깊은 복합미가 또렷한 희귀 보틀링이다.

austere, raw, grassy, not far from the 12yo by JMcA, only more vanilled and a little more polished. Porridge. With water: it doesn’t develop as much as the youngsters, getting only easier and more rounded. Vanilla, hints of wet paper, grass
restaurant Palate
exactly the same happens on the palate, a huge, raw whisky with a big grassiness and notes of candied fruits plus quite some oak. Not easy. With water: this is better and we’re now extremely close to the 12yo by JMcA. Frankly, it’s exactly as if 29-12=17 more years of maturing didn’t change anything to this Pittyvaich. Probably a multiple refill cask
