노즈에서는 크라간모어 특유의 잘 익은 과일 향과 옅은 향신료 노트가 먼저 드러나고, 오크에서 온 바닐라와 꿀, 견과 향이 명확하게 뒤따른다. 팰럿은 46도의 균형 잡힌 도수를 타고 사과와 오렌지, 보리 단맛이 선명하게 발전하며 15년 숙성이 더한 매끄러운 질감이 입을 감싼다. 피니시는 중간보다 길게 이어지며 몰트와 옅은 향신료, 오크의 여운이 남는다. 던컨 테일러의 NC2 레인지로 병입된 스페이사이드 몰트로, 복합적인 균형이 또렷하다.

we’re close to the old 12 in style, only with a little more fruits (ripe pears) and a little less flowers. Nice hints of thyme. Gets then a tad rougher than the old 12

indeed, this one reminds me of the old 12 but it’s certainly sharper here, less polished, more on fresh fruits (apples and pears, gooseberries, greengages.) A little spirity

rather long, fruity, with added notes of violet sweets and maybe even lavender sweets
