air Nose
I believe I'm finding more oranges and Jaffa cakes than before, which is very nice, obviously. And early grey, orange blossom water, meadow honey, macaroons and fresh brioche. Really nice, now as we all very well know, the devil is on the palate…
restaurant Palate
ah, those oranges are there too, together with some kind of light salty smokiness, not unseen in Cragganmore. Otherwise we have butterscotch and brioche, a little toffee, and even a drop of some kind of slightly salty bouillon. We're far from some of those cardboardy batches from the mid-2010s
timer Finish
unexpectedly long, with a little camphor this time, as well as something a little coastal. It's almost as if they had refilled some ex-Lagavulin casks. Marmalade in the aftertaste
