Tasting Notes
호박빛이 잔에 짙게 어리며 옛 셰리 스프링뱅크의 시대를 그대로 불러온다. 향에는 그 시절 특유의 옅은 유황이 스치고, 물을 더하면 송로버섯과 양배추 수프 같은 눅진한 냄새가 밀려 올라온다. 54.2도의 입은 거칠 만큼 야생적이다. 키니네와 생강 토닉, 검은 올리브 타프나드와 앤초비의 짠맛이 타르와 태운 캐러멜 위에서 뒤엉킨다. 여운은 짧게 닫히지만 그 인상만은 오래 남는다.

it does smell like an old sherried OB from that era, with that slightly sulphury edge that characterised quite a few of those bottlings, bringing us almost into Jamaican rum territory, though without the aromatic depth. But as we all know, just a few drops of water can turn things around entirely, so let’s do that... With water: truffle and cabbage soup push their way through, such a classic combo in these official sherried Springbanks from these vintages
