Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 34년 장기 숙성과 캠벨타운 특유의 기름진 짠내, 묵은 과일 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 하트 브라더스가 1967년 빈티지를 병입한 이 스프링뱅크는 40.9도에서 향이 깊게 가라앉아 있다. 팰럿은 말린 살구와 캐러멜, 가벼운 소금기가 주도하며 오래된 오크의 깊이가 받친다. 피니시는 마른 과일과 흙내음이 잔잔히 이어지고, 반세기 가까운 시간이 만든 구조감이 또렷한 올드 캠벨타운 몰트다.

I think it’s in those years that Springbank was closest to Bowmore, and vice versa. Indeed this bursts with tropical fruits such as mangos, passion fruits and papayas, before some fresh mint and fennel join in, as well as touches of vanilla and acacia honey. It’s not a hugely complex old whisky, but the fruitiness is totally impressive. Very elegant

very same notes on the palate, expect that there’s a little white pepper from the oak. Same papayas, oranges, honey and mangos, with just touches of butterscotch and then a little more Springbankness, that is to say more oils and ‘mineral and grassy stuff’
