Tasting Notes
옅은 호박빛이 잔에 얕게 깔리고 미즈나라 피니시가 남긴 향의 결이 그 위로 피어오른다. 낙엽 더미와 아이리시 커피, 호두 기름의 고소함이 셰리의 단맛과 부드럽게 맞물린다. 스물여덟 해를 보낸 술은 입에서 짭짤한 수지와 당밀, 소금 캐러멜을 차례로 풀어놓고 전나무 진과 타르의 약재 같은 기운이 뒤를 받친다. 여운은 젖은 잎과 지하 창고의 흙내, 다크 초콜릿의 씁쓸함으로 잔잔히 잦아든다.

air Nose
what I love here is the very obvious - and very Springbank - sherry influence and how it has been perfectly softened and balanced by the bourbon component. Lots of leaf mulch, Irish coffee, walnut oil and a little mint choc chip ice cream, but then also hessian and cough mixtures. Gorgeous nose!
restaurant Palate
perfectly salty and resinous sherry with shades of treacle, salted caramel, fir wood resins, natural tar and roof pitch. Nicely medicinal, camphory and peppery but backed up by some lovely dark fruit and rancio qualities too
timer Finish
medium and on wet leaves, cellar earth, bitter chocolate and herbal extracts
