Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 스트라스아일라 특유의 잘 익은 과일과 꿀, 보리 단맛이 먼저 두드러진다. 2005 빈티지를 리필 버번 배럴에서 15년 숙성한 이 위스키는 54.3도에서 절제된 우드 덕분에 증류소 본연의 풍부한 과실이 분명하게 드러난다. 팰럿은 사과와 꿀, 가벼운 향신료로 발전하며 스페이사이드다운 매끄러운 질감이 중심을 잡는다. 피니시는 시리얼과 옅은 오크가 적당히 이어진다. 리필 캐스크가 증류소 캐릭터를 잘 살린 균형 잡힌 한 잔이다.
