Tasting Notes
잔을 코끝으로 올리면 버터와 코코넛 오일의 부드러운 냄새가 먼저 손을 내민다. 조금 더 흔들면 파파야와 키위 주스 같은 산뜻한 과일이 열린다. 한 모금 머금는 순간 55도가 훈연한 레몬을 통째로 짜낸 듯한 강한 시트러스를 밀어 넣고 리몬첼로 같은 달콤한 산미가 혀 전체로 퍼진다. 삼킨 뒤에는 흙 냄새가 살짝 고개를 들었다가 과일 쪽으로 다시 기운다. 1996년 버번 호그스헤드가 같은 시기 스프링뱅크보다 훨씬 밝은 결을 만들었다.

it’s a more buttery Springbank, I would say, with more cask influence (here coconut oil and papaya), but it tends to become sharper and better while it remains a rather cleaner one, less dirty/greasy than the 1993. With water: indeed it is a fruitier one. Some lemonade, kiwi juice, and only then a little more Springbanky dirtiness
