Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 1차 충전 셰리 호그스헤드에서 온 졸인 과일과 캐러멜, 가벼운 향신료가 먼저 드러난다. 고든 앤 맥페일이 캐스크 스트렝스로 병입한 스트라스아일라 2008은 13년 숙성에 57.7도의 도수로, 셰리의 단맛이 또렷하고 강하게 발전한다. 팰럿은 건포도와 다크 초콜릿, 구운 견과가 단단한 구조감을 이룬다. 피니시는 짙은 단맛과 오크의 떫음이 길게 교차하며 마무리된다.

long and pretty spicy. These first fill hogsheads are very 'first fill' indeed, they would have harboured seasoning sherry for only one or two years before they're filled with whisky. Ginger, chocolate and pumpernickel in the aftertaste
