스페이사이드의 스트래스아일라가 1969 빈티지를 리필 셰리 버트와 이전 버번 캐스크에서 15년 길러 고든 앤 맥페일이 라이센스드 보틀링으로 풀어낸 보틀링이다. 노즈에서는 오래된 셰리의 건포도와 마른 무화과, 광택제 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 팰럿에서는 셰리와 곡물의 단맛이 균형 있게 중심을 잡고 가벼운 가죽과 마른 향신료가 윤곽을 그린다. 40퍼센트의 절제된 알코올이 시간의 흔적과 함께 가라앉아 있다. 피니시는 셰리와 마른 오크로 길게 이어진다.

bigger, more fragrant, sootier and more herbal. Touches of motor oil and light turpentine, shoe polish, tin box and then aniseed and wormwood. Indeed, it’s a little ‘absinthy’. Then parsley, chicken bouillon, a little soy sauce… Lovely and complex, the herbal side came unexpected
restaurant Palate
some OBE striking, with a metallic side as well as a salty one that wasn’t expected. Salmiak, cough syrup, verbena, absinth again… A strange baby from the old days, quite the opposite of the new 12 OB. Behind all that, some bitterish caramel. Polish, ashes, green chartreuse…
