Tasting Notes
잔에 잠긴 짙은 호박빛이 1948년에 증류된 원액이 40년을 견뎌낸 시간의 무게를 그대로 드러낸다. 노즈에는 잘 익은 자두와 마른 무화과, 옅은 꿀 향이 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 입에서는 가죽과 토피, 호두가 묵직하게 입을 채우고 40도의 부드러운 알코올이 단정한 구조를 만든다. 스페이사이드의 노장 스트라스아일라가 빚어낸 깊은 여운이 마지막까지 잔잔히 잠겨 있다.

the attack isn’t too bold, but nicely fruity. Apple juice, cooked apple, light caramel, apricot… Hints of chardonnay. Rather undemanding but enjoyable
restaurant Palate
perhaps a little watery at first, but a rather nice development on cooked apple, white pepper and oak. Again, a malt that’s a little MOTR. The nose is very nice but the mouth is simple. 78 points . Strathisla 1982 (40%, G&M Licensed bottling, mid 90’s)
