Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 1967년 스트라스아일라 41년의 오랜 숙성이 빚어낸 노쇠한 오크 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 마른 무화과, 오래된 책장, 옅은 가죽의 노트가 정연하게 흐른다. 팰럿은 48%의 도수가 부드럽게 입을 채우며 갈색 설탕, 호두, 약한 시거 박스의 풍미로 발전한다. 41년이라는 시간이 안겨준 깊은 우드의 영향이 또렷이 깃들어 있으며 구조감이 단단하다. 피니시는 오래된 오크와 마른 무화과의 잔향이 길게 이어진다.

indeed, this noses very well, being all on pear juice and muesli as well as fresh almonds. Very fresh and ultra-clean, uncomplicated an calling for… Summer! (and maybe a few ice cubes.)

fresh, fruity, youngish but clean and full-bodied, with notes of pears, bubblegum and vanilla custard plus cornflakes and a little strawberry jam. State of the art young Speysider with little direct wood influence, well in the style of the series as far as young whiskies are concerned
