Tasting Notes
셰리 혹스헤드에서 32년을 보낸 1967년 증류액으로, 노즈에서는 잘 닦은 가구와 재스민차, 밀랍이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 가죽과 삼나무, 젖은 담뱃잎이 뒤를 이으며 밀크초콜릿의 단맛이 명확하게 드러난다. 팰럿은 44.6%에서 부드럽게 열리며 바다 소금이 섞인 쓴 초콜릿과 허브차, 마른 민트가 발전한다. 시간이 지나면 꿀과 향, 램프 오일이 더해진다. 피니시는 길고 가죽과 이국적인 차가 남는다.

highly polished furniture. Masses of jasmine tea, beeswax, leather, pot pourri, cedar wood, damp tobacco and wood spices. There’s a milk chocolate sweetness as well, some crystalised citrus peels, aged Cognac and things like golden sultanas, aged sauternes and menthol extracts. A zippy coastal note beyond all that as well. Beautiful and expressive old whisky that is very much aromatically alive and kicking

soft wood spices, some spicy tannin, sea salt-infused bitter chocolate, green and various herbal teas, mineral oils and dried mint. There’s black pepper and lapsang souchong as well. In time there’s more spiced honey, incense, crystalised fruits and lamp oil. Excellent although bordering on too old

long, leathery, waxy, polished, lots of strong exotic teas, some spiced damson jam and some old Calvados
