Tasting Notes
버번 호그스헤드에서 9년을 보낸 숙성이, 2009년 페터케언에 또렷한 곡물 단맛과 우드 향을 새겼다. 코에서는 바닐라와 잘 익은 사과, 옅은 열대 과일이 화사하게 올라온다. 입에서는 60도의 강렬한 힘으로 꿀과 캐러멜, 백후추가 두껍게 입을 채운다. 하이랜드 몰트다운 단단한 구조 위로, 색은 맑은 금빛이다. 여운에는 바닐라와 오크 스파이스가 길게 이어진다.

a little hot and really all on butterscotch and maize syrup, but it's true that we're almost at 60% vol. Lovely nougat and not much of Old Fettercairn's usual wackiness. Water may change things… With water: gingerbread and fresh pumpernickel! Well, all kinds of seeds and nuts, plus a little mint

oh lovely! Wood-smoked pears, pipe tobacco moistened with armagnac (guilty as charged) and more nougat, with a dollop of lemon syrup. With water: lovely maltiness, once again a little less unusual than other Fettercairns, with notes of blood oranges in the background
