Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 페터케언다운 잘 익은 과일과 꿀, 아메리칸 오크의 바닐라가 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 42도로 둥글게 병입된 팰럿은 부드러우며 사과와 시트러스, 코코넛, 가벼운 향신료가 차례로 발전한다. 28년의 긴 숙성이 엑스버번 캐스크의 달큰함에 폴리시드 우드의 깊이를 더하고, 피니시는 꿀과 마른 오크가 길게 이어진다. 증류소가 병입한 이 페터케언은 장기 숙성된 하이랜드 몰트의 매끄러운 균형이 핵심이다.

sweeter and rounder than expected, but there’s always this weird sourness, more dry Madeira, notes of barley sugar (as if that had been added, but that’s impossible), butterscotch, more cardboard, leather and cigars, lavender sweets… It is weird, but not quite as weird as it used to be, IMHO (as we used to say when the Web was still free)

medium, toasty, with some maple syrup, green pepper, and walnut wine. The aftertaste’s a little buttery
