Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 삼중 증류가 빚어낸 헤이즐번 특유의 부드러운 곡물과 바닐라가 먼저 두드러진다. 시간이 지나면 잘 익은 배와 옅은 꿀, 마른 풀의 향이 차례로 발전한다. 버번 배럴에서 23년을 보낸 만큼 오크의 간섭은 절제되어 증류소 본연의 캐릭터가 명확하게 드러난다. 46도의 팰럿은 기름진 질감 위로 시트러스와 흰 후추가 균형을 잡고, 캠벨타운다운 옅은 소금기가 피니시까지 길게 이어진다.

this one is smokier and a little rougher than the 1968 for Samaroli. More classically on coconut as well, with hints of sage and rosemary, vanilla and oak, bread crust, ripe bananas and maybe a very faint soapiness that’s curiously enjoyable here (saponin.) Keeps developing with notes of mushrooms, tobaco, leather and old books. A rather gingery signature on the nose
restaurant Palate
attack on dry wood and dried mushrooms plus liquorice and toffee, with the trademark coconut arising after that. Also nutmeg, dried figs and bananas. Classy old Springbank
