Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 라가불린의 강한 피트 스모크와 짠 해변의 미네랄, 옅은 시트러스의 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 팰럿으로 옮겨가면 흰 후추, 구운 곡물, 잘 익은 시트러스가 명확하게 드러나며 56.5% ABV의 캐스크 스트렝스가 단단한 구조감을 잡아준다. 피니시는 매우 길고 훈연 향과 미네랄이 잔잔하게 발전한다. 중반부 캐스크 영향이 곡물 베이스 위에 단단하게 안착하며 발전 폭이 넓다. 라가불린 12년 숙성된 2010 디아지오 스페셜 릴리즈 보틀링에서 캐스크 스트렝스 아일라 클래식의 강렬한 깊이가 또렷하다.

more or less what I was actually expecting, many aromas overlap, especially the salty, coastal, rooty and olive-y sides. Which generates an increased feeling of 'smoked olive brine' to which we are absolutely not opposed. With water: no, chalk, rocks, slate, wool, smoky porridge…
restaurant Palate
I'd have never said this was premixed with tequila. A lot of brine, seawater, olives, gherkins, samphires, oyster plant, then pickled plums and small lemons, while it is getting a little more syrupy over the minutes. Iodine and plasticine are there too. With water: frankly sweeter, but that can be very Lagavulin too. We're also somewhat reminded of the Italian olive liqueurs, which they make for example around the Lago de Garda if I remember well
