잔을 천천히 흔들면 옅은 밀짚빛이 잔 벽을 따라 가볍게 흐른다. 코를 가져가면 라가불린 12년 2005 스페셜 릴리즈 특유의 진한 피트 연기와 짠 바닷바람이 가장 먼저 인사한다. 한 모금을 머금으면 아일라의 강렬한 훈연과 라임 껍질이 56.5도의 알코올과 함께 입천장을 강하게 채운다. 잔이 따뜻해지면 진한 훈연이 한층 깊어지며 라임 캐릭터가 또렷해진다. 천천히 삼키면 부르봉 통의 부드러운 단맛이 묵직한 재 캐릭터를 따라 길게 이어진다.

I agree the 2020 is a little sweeter and fruitier, whilst this one is just a blade that cuts you in half as Uma Thurman would in Kill Bill. Smoked mercurochrome, concrete dust, porridge, cigar ashes. Well well well, we’re extremely far from the 16 and the SR 2020 almost feels like tangerine juice now (of course I exaggerate)… With water: grist, tincture of iodine, elastoplast, charcoal
restaurant Palate
the differences are a little less obvious on the palate, but this is more pungent indeed, more mineral, creosote-y, with lemons that are greener than those in the 2019. Sends shivers in your spine, I’m thinking of the driest dry chenins. With water: more greenness. Do they make green lapsang souchong too?
