잔 안쪽에 옅은 황금빛이 또렷이 깃든다. 디아지오 스페셜 릴리즈 2008에 포함된 라가불린 12년은 캐스크 스트렝스의 결을 그대로 드러내는데, 코끝에 닿는 첫 인상은 가라앉은 피트와 짠 해풍, 마른 약초가 함께 풀려 나온다. 한 모금 머금으면 훈연된 시트러스와 검은 후추, 옅은 가죽이 미끄러지듯 흐르고, 56.4도의 도수가 아일라의 깊이를 단단히 받친다. 끝맛은 옅은 재와 마른 해초로 길게 흐른다.

I agree the 2020 is a little sweeter and fruitier, whilst this one is just a blade that cuts you in half as Uma Thurman would in Kill Bill. Smoked mercurochrome, concrete dust, porridge, cigar ashes. Well well well, we’re extremely far from the 16 and the SR 2020 almost feels like tangerine juice now (of course I exaggerate)… With water: grist, tincture of iodine, elastoplast, charcoal
restaurant Palate
the differences are a little less obvious on the palate, but this is more pungent indeed, more mineral, creosote-y, with lemons that are greener than those in the 2019. Sends shivers in your spine, I’m thinking of the driest dry chenins. With water: more greenness. Do they make green lapsang souchong too?

long, very dry and ashy. Cold cigar ashes – I agree, better have them cold
