Tasting Notes
진한 호박빛이 잔 안에서 따뜻하게 빛난다. 라가불린답게 그을린 장작 연기와 짭조름한 바닷내음, 달큰한 캐러멜의 향이 묵직하게 피어오른다. 한 모금은 진한 훈연과 단맛, 그을린 오크가 어우러져 입안을 두껍게 채운다. 11년의 숙성과 46도의 도수가 아일라 남부 피트의 무게를 부드럽게 받친다. 여운은 재와 단맛, 옅은 소금기로 길게 이어지며 라가불린다운 진중한 연기를 남긴다.

air Nose
It's funny how this one is so much quieter and apparently 'lighter' than the 10yo. Green and pink peppercorn, aniseed, some background peat smoke and a little mixed olive tapenade that adds saltiness. Not too sure it's my cup of Lagavulin this…
restaurant Palate
pretty sweet, sweet peat, oak spices, sweet tarriness, wee brine touches, some preserved lemon and lapsing souchong tea. Perfectly fine, but it feels as though it has been slightly flattened out in some way
timer Finish
medium and actually rather nice with some root beer, cola syrup and tar liqueur along with a nice salted almond note
