노즈에서는 인버고든 1972의 43년 숙성이 빚어낸 옅은 코코넛, 캐러멜, 흰꽃 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 49.5도의 알코올이 그레인 위스키 특유의 부드러운 골격을 받친다. 팰럿은 바닐라 커스터드, 익은 배, 가벼운 토피가 균형 있게 발전한다. 피니시는 마른 오크와 옅은 미네랄이 길게 이어진다. 하이랜드 그레인 인버고든의 정밀한 캐릭터가 또렷하다.

it’s the most herbal of them all so far, with some tobacco, bitter herbs, cinnamon, mint oil, a wee bit of propolis, and then rather green lemons. This 1972 is much less ‘smooth’ than the 1973s, tenser, and in away, maltier. I have no quibbles with this

rather long, with bits of ginger and turmeric, and bitter oranges in the aftertaste
