Tasting Notes
옅은 금빛이 잔 속에 조용히 깃든다. 리필 버번 호그스헤드에서 19년을 지낸 이 자매 캐스크는 백묵과 약재, 젖은 흙의 향이 앞서고 무두질한 가죽의 결이 뒤를 받친다. 54.9도의 술은 오크에서 온 기름기 덕에 입안이 한결 넉넉해져 민트와 자몽, 요오드와 재가 정확한 자리에 놓인다. 여운은 길고 메마르게 이어지며 짠맛과 감초, 멘톨의 서늘함이 층을 이루어 마지막까지 또렷하게 남는다.

we're going more towards the official 15 this time, maybe thanks to some more active wood, but the general profile remains very chalky, medicinal, grassy, and perhaps a notch earthier than that of cask 550. Old puddle with tadpoles ;-). And more aspirin. With water: mud and leather
restaurant Palate
same feeling, it's #550 with more oils and fatness from the oak. More mint and citrus too, which makes it more approachable, and just as perfect. This one's got something of Old Clynelish, honestly. With water: very perfect. Everything's at the right place, iodine, chalk, ashes, smoky things, grass, grapefruits, engine oil... It's all so very well chiselled!
