Tasting Notes
1965년 증류돼 1993년에 아델피가 병입한 원액을 잔에 부으면 옅은 앰버가 무겁게 돌아 나온다. 코를 가져가면 오래된 시가 상자와 모과 젤리, 건포도에 코냑 같은 향이 겹쳐 밀려온다. 한 모금 머금으면 허브와 담뱃잎, 밀랍과 멘톨 수지가 층층이 지나가고 열대 과일 젤리의 단맛이 사이를 채운다. 삼키면 히비스커스와 장미수, 재스민차 같은 향이 50.6도의 무게로 길게 이어진다.

Some quince jelly, raisins and sultanas mixed with ancient cognac, flambeed banana, sweetened herbal cough medicines and many tropical fruit jellies. Medical tinctures, baked green fruits and various precious teas. With water: gets spicier, more bready and starts to display a tiny leathery peat note

s.u.p.e.r.b! A perfect blend of herbs, tobaccos, teas, precious waxes, hardwood extracts, menthol resins, crystalised, dark, exotic and glazed fruits of all shades. The wood is perfect, spicy and supportive but never dominates and there’s still a glimmer of Springbank coastal vigour. With water: spices, fruit jellies, exotic teas, mirabelle, ointments, wood resins - utterly majestic.
