Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 퍼스트필 레드 와인 캐스크가 더한 붉은 베리와 자두 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 일본 치치부가 2016년 증류해 8년 숙성한 이 위스키는 65.5도의 높은 도수만큼 향의 밀도가 강하다. 팰럿은 블랙커런트와 다크초콜릿, 정향 스파이스가 주도하며 와인 캐스크의 탄닌이 또렷하게 받친다. 피니시는 붉은 과일과 마른 허브가 길게 이어지고, 어린 나이에도 구조감이 단단한 재패니즈 몰트다.

much better, no sulphur this time, with a hint of pine resin and, well, classic Chichibu. There’s also a whiff of blood orange. With water: quite pleasant, with notes of cake, cherry stalk herbal tea, and puffs of peony, but no real red wine influence…
restaurant Palate
not bad at all, again leaning towards citrus and pink peppercorns, with a handful of cherries and some black pepper. But it’s (cough) very strong. With water: yes, quite nice indeed, with the return of those blood oranges and a touch of Szechuan pepper
timer Finish
rather long, with strawberries, pepper, and a hint of fir honey
