Tasting Notes
잔을 가볍게 흔들면 2010년 치치부가 옅은 황금빛을 잔 벽에 입힌다. 코끝에 가져가면 어린 일본 몰트답게 깨끗한 보리와 풋사과, 리필 호그스헤드의 바닐라가 섬세하게 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 59.5도의 높은 기운 속에서도 꿀과 시트러스, 가벼운 향신료가 또렷하게 번진다. 천천히 삼키면 치치부 특유의 정교한 보리 단맛과 깔끔한 오크가 혀끝에 또렷이 깃들어 있다.

bourbon. Sawdust, pencil shavings, vanilla, coconut balls, caraway, rye, and lavender syrup. Frankly, I’d have said bourbon. Excellent bourbon. No obvious Pedro that I can feel, better like that. With water: a carpenter’s workshop, a cooperage, a modern palletised warehouse… See what I mean. Now, I do enjoy the coconut + vanilla + oranges combo

totally high-impact, this is a flame-thrower. Cough, cough, I’ve known spirits at 70% vol. that were smoooother. OMG. With water: good, we tamed the beast. Rounded, creamy, sweet, bourbony, very Americanoaky (what?)… And there, perhaps, one raisin from the PX thing. And orange zests
