오랜 세월이 깃든 어두운 마호가니빛이 잔 깊은 곳에서 빛난다. 1970년 증류해 30년을 보낸 탐두는 셰리 캐스크에서 건포도와 말린 무화과, 오래된 가죽의 향을 깊게 풀어낸다. 43도의 부드러운 술이 혀를 미끄러지듯 흐르며 흑설탕과 호두, 다크 토피의 결이 차분하게 드러난다. 반세기 전 증류된 셰리의 깊이가 선명하게 자리 잡고, 건과일과 가죽의 여운이 길게 남는다.

we’re not far at all from the official 25, and to be honest, now that I’m trying this one, I have the impression that the 25 had a very ‘G&M style’. Yeah, whatever that means. So we’re very, very close. This one may have a little more honey, but other than that, it’s almost the same whisky. Strange, isn’t it?
