Tasting Notes
오크 캐스크에서 40년이라는 긴 시간을 보낸 이 보틀링은 시간이 빚어낸 원숙함을 전면에 내세운다. 사반세기를 훌쩍 넘긴 숙성답게 우드의 깊이가 향과 입을 두루 감싼다. 향에서는 오래된 가죽과 마른 과일, 밀랍이 은은하게 겹쳐진다. 입에서는 꿀과 호두, 옅은 향신료가 41.5도의 절제된 도수 위로 매끈하게 흐른다. 짙은 호박빛 너머로 묵은 나무와 과일의 여운이 길게 머문다.

rather charming, malty and leaning towards brown ale, walnut wine, lightly singed cake, a touch of menthol, dark chocolate, and instant coffee granules… Really quite pleasant, honestly
restaurant Palate
good start, with notes of orange and walnut, more beer, preferably Belgian if you please, even a nod to stout, but the strength is too timid and it lacks a bit of backbone because of that, tending to nosedive and becoming a touch bitter and flattish
