Tasting Notes
리필 셰리 호그스헤드에서 13년을 보낸 숙성이 해안가 증류소 인치고어 2009에 짭짤한 깊이를 더했다. 고든앤맥페일 보틀링답게 향에서는 잘 익은 자두와 옅은 소금기, 구운 견과가 솟아오른다. 58.5도의 도수로 한 모금 삼키면 흑설탕과 말린 베리, 가벼운 후추가 묵직하게 입천장을 덮는다. 리필 셰리의 절제 덕에 색은 은은한 호박빛을 띠고, 스페이사이드 해안다운 미세한 소금기가 단맛 사이로 또렷하다. 여운에는 견과와 마른 향신료, 옅은 짠맛이 길게 머문다.

a rather lean and mineral-driven sherry profile, but still quite big for a refill, with hints of hessian cloth and oily toolbox rags. Also linseed oil, treacle cake and sandalwood. With water: some wet leaves, petrichor notes, cigar humidor and wee cereal hints in the background
restaurant Palate
good leafy, nicely earthy sherry profile, that displays rather a lot of green walnuts, tobacco leaf, sultana and Dundee fruit cake. There’s also a recurrence of this feeling of slightly fuller bodied aspects like toolboxes and oily rags. With water: really very good now, excellent clean, mineral and nicely tense sherry profile, with underlying oiliness of texture, cereals and light waxy notes
