잔에 코를 대면 버번 호그스헤드에서 온 바닐라와 잘 익은 사과, 가벼운 꿀이 노즈에서 먼저 드러난다. 스코틀랜드에서 가장 오래된 증류소로 알려진 글렌터렛의 1987 빈티지는 20년을 채운 하이랜드 위스키로 51.6도로 병입되었다. 팰럿은 매끄럽고 둥글게 흐르며 보리의 단맛과 시트러스, 은은한 오크가 균형이 단단하다. 피니시는 꿀과 마른 풀의 잔향을 남기며 길고 정갈하게 이어진다.
