하이랜드 중부 크리프 인근의 차가운 샘물과 손으로 빚는 전통이 스코틀랜드에서 가장 오래된 증류소로 꼽히는 글렌터렛의 성격을 만들었다. 버번 호그스헤드에서 15년을 보낸 이 1986년 원액은 잔에 맑은 황금빛을 띠고, 코끝에는 보리와 꿀, 풋과일의 향이 산뜻하게 드러난다. 입에서는 몰트의 단맛과 가벼운 오크가 또렷하게 어우러지고 54도의 힘이 구조를 받쳐 준다. 마무리에는 곡물과 꿀이 깔끔하게 이어진다.
