Tasting Notes
북부 하일랜드 네언 인근에 자리한 로열 브래클라, 1976년에 증류한 33년산이다. 코드웨이브 강의 맑은 물로 빚는 산지의 부드러운 기질이 오랜 숙성으로 한층 둥글어졌다. 33년의 긴 잠으로 잔빛은 깊은 황금빛을 띤다. 잘 익은 사과와 말린 살구, 꿀이 향에서 은은하게 드러나고 입에서는 43도의 부드러움 속에 과실과 오크의 단맛이 차분하게 흐른다. 묵은 오크의 단맛이 잔잔한 여운으로 가라앉는다.

hell, now we’re talking!!! An amazing honey/jam combo at first nosing, together with whiffs of well-aged Sauternes, figs, apricot pie, beeswax and… More beeswax. Superb

oh yes, impressive attack on honey again, apple pie, more honey, fudge, a little salted liquorice, marmalade, just a little Muscat wine and finally big notes of baklavas (honey and orange blossom water)
