Tasting Notes
오래 묵은 황금빛이 잔 속에서 부드럽게 일렁인다. 1976년 증류돼 스물아홉 해를 보낸 이 로열 브라클라는 잘 익은 과일과 꿀, 오래된 오크의 향이 그윽하게 어우러진다. 한 모금 머금으면 살구와 토피의 단맛, 옅은 향신료가 매끄럽게 번진다. 43도의 도수가 긴 세월에 둥글어진 질감을 한층 매끄럽게 만든다. 꿀과 마른 과일의 여운이 길게 머물며 옛 하이랜드 몰트의 우아함을 전한다.

but this is superb! Dried figs kept in an old tin box, some kind of smoked honey – but could you smoke honey – and some kinds of sweet cigars, plus some high-end leather polish and then more and more tangerines, as marmalade, as syrup, as fresh juice… Wonderful old-school nose
restaurant Palate
totally superb, meaty, sooty, ashy, camphory, sappy… It’s really very complex, the tangerines are there again, and there’s many ‘old’ dried fruits, manuka honey, mead… While the whole tends to become saltier and saltier, which reminds me of the current 12. It’s really deep and complex
timer Finish
rather long, with some Spanish ham, more mead, those figs… It’s really superb! The aftertaste is grassier and drier, so never tiring, you’re ready for another glass
