richer, fuller, more aromatic than the ‘83’. Earthy tones, some lavender, sugarcane, ginger and vanilla. Probably some newish oak involved here. Quite nice

creamy and very sweet, thick, liqueur-ish. Barley sugar, maple syrup (but of course), date liqueur and then these faint earthy/spicy tones that may come from a rye content

medium long, very sweet, nearly cloying
