Tasting Notes
잔을 흔들면 옅은 황금빛이 가볍게 일렁인다. 코를 가져가면 로열 브래클라다운 오렌지와 꿀, 가벼운 향신료가 단정하게 올라온다. 더 들이마시면 마멀레이드와 구운 아몬드의 결이 뒤따른다. 한 모금을 머금으면 11년 호그스헤드가 길러낸 보리 단맛과 시트러스가 혀 위를 미끄러진다. 46도의 결은 부드러워 자극이 적고, 삼키고 나면 맥아의 구수함과 오렌지 껍질의 산뜻함이 잔잔히 따라온다.

varnish, tar, very ripe bananas, liquorice, caramel, chocolate, and toasted nuts. Perhaps a hint of seawater. I suppose it’s too late to enlist in the British Navy?
restaurant Palate
it must be about 45% vol. Very thick, with plenty of salted liquorice and old nuts, indeed some seawater, bitter orange, perhaps a touch of (added) molasses, and truly that thick, typical profile. A hint of Port Mourant, unless there’s some Skeldon or Albion in it. It’s very good
timer Finish
long, salty, with coffee liqueur and more olives this time
