코끝에는 꿀과 잘 익은 사과, 바닐라가 또렷하게 올라온다. 퍼스트필 버번 배럴에서 9년 익힌 글렌엘긴은 어린 숙성에도 팰럿에서 시트러스와 보리 사탕, 옅은 오크가 또렷하게 발전하며 58.5%의 높은 도수가 선명한 골격을 세운다. 스페이사이드 특유의 꿀 같은 단맛이 중심을 잡는다. 피니시는 중간 이상으로 꿀과 시트러스가 깔끔하게 남는다. 젊지만 균형이 단단한 스페이사이드 몰트다.
