노즈에서는 글렌 엘긴 특유의 풍성한 꿀과 잘 익은 과수원 과일, 옅은 꽃 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 12년 숙성한 호그스헤드가 바닐라와 마른 오크의 깊이를 단정하게 더한다. 입에서는 52.9도의 도수가 시트러스와 보리 단맛, 옅은 향신료를 부드럽게 밀어내며 균형이 단단하다. 피니시는 마른 오크와 맥아 단맛이 잔잔히 이어진다. 12년 싱글 캐스크다운 화사하고 정제된 스파이사이드다.
