스코틀랜드 최남단, 위그타운셔의 부드러운 평원에 자리한 블래드녹 증류소가 1977년에 빚은 위스키다. 23년 숙성 잔에는 옅은 황금빛이 깊게 머문다. 향에는 갓 깎은 잔디와 라임 껍질, 옅은 흰 꽃이 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 입에서는 시트러스 캔디와 흰 후추, 마른 시리얼이 차례로 드러나고 53.6도의 도수는 두꺼운 질감으로 흐른다. 청량한 로우랜드 평지의 활기가 마른 허브 여운으로 길게 이어진다.
