Tasting Notes
잔에 잠긴 빛은 짙은 마호가니에 가깝다. 달모어가 셰리 캐스크 빈티지를 모아 40년을 거쳐 40도로 병입된 증류소 공식 40년 보틀이다. 향에는 묵은 오렌지 마말레이드, 다크 초콜릿, 마른 무화과가 차례로 떠오르며 달모어 특유의 시트러스와 셰리의 조화가 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 입에서는 향신료와 마른 과일이 묵직하게 흐르고 알코올은 부드럽게 잠긴다. 여운에는 다크 초콜릿과 오렌지 껍질의 잔향이 길게 남는다.

superb mix of smoke, precious woods (and thuja!) and dried fruits. Roasted chestnuts, Demerara sugar (and rum), chocolate, old balsamic vinegar, caramel, coffee, a little cumin and some old-style mint liqueur
restaurant Palate
perfect, very complex, starting with many honeys (including fir honeydew), then liquorice liqueur, eucalyptus drops, prunes, chocolate and a lot of orange liqueur. Also orange blossom water, baklavas… Really luscious
timer Finish
long, all on chocolate and oranges plus wee hints of black olives and some kind of herbal liqueur. Kummel?
