superb mix of smoke, precious woods (and thuja!) and dried fruits. Roasted chestnuts, Demerara sugar (and rum), chocolate, old balsamic vinegar, caramel, coffee, a little cumin and some old-style mint liqueur

restaurant Palate

perfect, very complex, starting with many honeys (including fir honeydew), then liquorice liqueur, eucalyptus drops, prunes, chocolate and a lot of orange liqueur. Also orange blossom water, baklavas… Really luscious

timer Finish

long, all on chocolate and oranges plus wee hints of black olives and some kind of herbal liqueur. Kummel?
