Tasting Notes
진한 적동빛이 잔 안에 깊게 비친다. 1969년 빈티지의 달모어가 아메리칸 화이트 오크에서 자란 후 작은 버번 배럴에서 마무리된 이 컨스텔레이션 컬렉션 42년은 빈티지 북부 하이랜드의 깊은 단맛을 또렷이 안고 있다. 향에서는 잘 익은 오렌지와 다크 카카오, 가벼운 가죽이 깊게 머문다. 입에 닿으면 두꺼운 질감으로 흐르는 오렌지 마멀레이드와 정향, 옅은 후추가 입천장을 덮는다. 45.5도의 도수가 자극 없이 균형을 잡는다. 오크와 시간이 함께 만들어 낸 결이 부드럽게 이어진다. 여운은 길게 이어진다.

first achievement, it’s not too winey. Second achievement, it’s pretty Dalmore-y, with some chocolate and some oranges. And then, it’s malty, with whiffs of Mars bar and a wee earthy/ferny side that’s rather pleasant. Perhaps does it rather go towards Cognac? Pleasant
restaurant Palate
no, this is very unusual. Seriously, it does taste like some kind of American craft whisky, flash-aged in very small barrels. And it’s pretty good, with some pumpernickel, gourd pips, sloe, cloves, ginger… It’s just not very Dalmore anymore. But funny it is
timer Finish
medium, on bitter chocolate, cigars, black tea, and green pepper and juniper. Some French oak involved, perhaps?
