검은 적갈색이 잔의 깊은 곳에 묵직하게 가라앉는다. 달모어 1964 빈티지 46년은 콘스텔레이션 컬렉션으로 풀린 보틀링이며, 아메리칸 화이트 오크에서 길게 잠든 뒤 마투살렘 올로로소 셰리에서 3년 더 마감되었다. 향에서는 농축된 무화과 잼과 다크 초콜릿, 마호가니 가구의 폴리시, 가죽, 시가 박스가 짙게 펼쳐진다. 45.1도의 절제된 도수는 입안에서 달모어 특유의 두꺼운 보디감 위로 캐러멜라이즈된 오렌지와 호두, 갈색 설탕, 옅은 흑후추의 결을 우아하게 풀어놓는다. 여운은 60년대 노스 하이랜드의 깊은 침묵처럼 머문다.

first achievement, it’s not too winey. Second achievement, it’s pretty Dalmore-y, with some chocolate and some oranges. And then, it’s malty, with whiffs of Mars bar and a wee earthy/ferny side that’s rather pleasant. Perhaps does it rather go towards Cognac? Pleasant
restaurant Palate
no, this is very unusual. Seriously, it does taste like some kind of American craft whisky, flash-aged in very small barrels. And it’s pretty good, with some pumpernickel, gourd pips, sloe, cloves, ginger… It’s just not very Dalmore anymore. But funny it is
timer Finish
medium, on bitter chocolate, cigars, black tea, and green pepper and juniper. Some French oak involved, perhaps?
