짙은 황금빛이 잔 가장자리에 부드럽게 비친다. 1979년에 증류되어 18년을 묵은 글렌버기는 SMWS 71.22번 카레이도스코픽 위스키라는 별명을 단 단일 캐스크로 1997년 병입되었다. 노즈에는 잘 익은 노란 자두와 마른 풀, 옅은 꿀랍이 풀려난다. 입에서는 노란 꿀과 시트러스 껍질, 흰 후추가 58퍼센트 도수에 실려 단단하게 흐른다. 알려지지 않은 스페이사이드 증류소의 활기 있는 결이 여운에 길게 깃들어 있다.
