스페이사이드 키스 인근의 올트모어는 포기 모스 습지의 풍토 속에서 깨끗하고 산뜻한 몰트를 빚는다. 셰리 버트에서 8년을 보낸 이 위스키는 짙은 호박빛을 띤다. 향에서는 건포도와 잘 익은 사과, 셰리의 단내가 또렷하게 올라오고 옅은 흑설탕이 더해진다. 무려 67.3도의 강렬한 도수에 물을 더하면 무화과와 보리 단맛, 향신료가 풍부하게 흐른다. 중간에는 호두와 오렌지 껍질의 단맛이 두꺼운 질감으로 퍼진다. 셰리 단맛과 오크의 여운이 길고 뜨겁게 남는다.

ouch. Caramel vodka and huge quantities of nutmeg. Really tough. With water: easier but still a little rough, with a sherry that's full of bay leaves and cloves

rough, grassier, with some burnt bread and caramel. Feelings of cough medicine, spend grapes and lees in the aftertaste
