셰리 펀천에서 단 여덟 해를 보낸 2007년 올트모어가 67.4도의 높은 강도로 셰리 우드의 흔적을 또렷이 새긴다. 향은 잘 익은 자두와 호두 껍질, 옅은 가죽으로 풀려나간다. 입에서는 흑설탕과 마른 무화과, 시나몬이 빽빽하게 입을 채우고 알코올의 골격을 마른 향신료가 단단히 받쳐준다. 짙은 호박빛이 잔에 깊이 비치고 여운에는 묵은 오크와 비터 카카오가 길게 머문다.

ouch. Caramel vodka and huge quantities of nutmeg. Really tough. With water: easier but still a little rough, with a sherry that's full of bay leaves and cloves
