노스이스트 하이랜드 밴프 해안의 맥더프는 짠 바닷바람과 진한 셰리 풍미가 어우러지는 증류소다. 1차 필 올로로소 호그스헤드가 잔에 짙은 적갈색을 새긴다. 17년의 향은 건포도와 호두, 가죽의 묵직한 향이 겹겹이 솟는다. 53.6도의 입은 셰리 단맛과 검은 과일, 정향이 진한 질감으로 흐른다. 여운에는 볶은 견과와 그을린 오크가 길게 깃들어 있다.
