잔을 가볍게 흔들면 맥더프 증류소의 글렌 데버론다운 옅은 황금빛이 산뜻하게 드러난다. 코를 가져가면 40도의 부드러운 향 위로 사과와 보리, 은은한 꿀의 단내가 먼저 오른다. 한 모금 머금으면 가벼운 질감에 시리얼과 바닐라, 옅은 시트러스가 매끄럽게 번진다. 1985년 빈티지의 하이랜드 12년 원액답게, 삼킨 뒤에는 담백한 몰트와 꿀이 부드럽게 잦아든다.
