Tasting Notes
잔에는 옅은 장밋빛이 도는 황금색이 부드럽게 비친다. 글렌모렌지에서 1997년 증류해 23년을 보내고 보르도 샤토 몽트로즈의 와인 캐스크에서 마지막을 다듬은 그랜드 빈티지 본드 하우스 No.1 보틀링이다. 향에는 잘 익은 라즈베리, 붉은 자두, 옅은 가죽과 마른 꽃의 노트가 또렷이 드러난다. 43도의 절제된 도수가 입안에서 적포도주의 떫은맛과 다크 초콜릿, 향신료의 균형을 단단히 보여준다. 여운은 베리류와 오크 탄닌으로 잔잔히 이어진다.

similar in style but more restrained, much less expressive and lively. More caramel too. Gets a little grassy
restaurant Palate
strong attack, quite spirity and sour. Overcooked caramel, burnt cake, candy sugar. It gets more and more sourish… Some offbeat notes (vinegar, overcooked wine sauce). Not too enjoyable, I must say. Long, but kind of dirty finish, on raisins and cheap rum. I don’t like it too much, I’m afraid. 72 points . Maybe it was just the batch, but what a downfall!
