프리미에 그랑 크뤼 소테른 캐스크에서 마무리된 시간이 글렌모렌지 1981에 화사한 단맛을 입혔다. 잘 익은 살구와 꿀, 백포도의 향긋한 단내가 코끝에서 우아하게 피어오른다. 입에서는 46도의 부드러움 속에 소테른 특유의 꿀 같은 단맛과 바닐라, 시트러스가 어우러진다. 옅은 황금빛 잔에 담긴 이 위스키의 여운은 달콤한 과실과 가벼운 오크로 길게 이어진다.

we’re going towards bourbon, or even pure corn whiskey. That’s funny indeed. Sweet maize, coconut, vanilla, sultanas, plenty of sweet oak (not tannic as such), and a feeling of cassata ice-cream. From the aforementioned ice-cream truck, of course. Ends up with more pears, which suggests youth
