Tasting Notes
잔을 눈높이로 들어 돌리면 옅은 황금빛이 잔 안에서 조용히 빛난다. 코끝에 가져가면 캐러멜과 시트러스, 백포도주의 향이 절제된 결로 열린다. 1971년 증류해 1998년 병입된 26년산 글렌모렌지답게 담담하고 마른 개성이다. 숨을 깊이 들이면 사과 껍질과 옅은 후추의 향이 함께 밀려든다. 한 모금 머금으면 43도의 힘 아래로 조린 와인과 마른 오크의 맛이 번진다. 두 번째 모금에서는 레몬즙 같은 산미와 오크의 쓴 기운이 도드라진다. 삼킨 뒤에는 마른 캐러멜과 레몬의 뒷맛이 입안에 길게 남는다.

air Nose
like with the sherry version, it’s much more restrained. Some caramel, citrus, white wine. Goes on with some apple skins and pepper, not much else
restaurant Palate
again the same phenomenon happens: this more recent batch is much bolder, but also even less defined. Burnt caramel, cooked wine, meat sauce, lemon juice.
