Tasting Notes
맑은 금빛이 잔 안에서 부드럽게 빛난다. 하이랜드 글렌모렌지가 버번과 말름지 마데이라 캐스크에서 16년을 보내며 얻은 개성이 잔에 어린다. 마데이라 특유의 건포도와 핑크 자몽, 잘 익은 사과의 향이 산뜻하게 피어오른다. 입안에서는 카라멜과 달콤한 와인, 볶은 커피콩의 단맛이 미끄러지듯 흐른다. 43도의 여운은 태운 카라멜과 옅은 소금기로 균형 있게 남는다.

quite strong Madeira, raisins, pink grapefruit. Rather nice at first nosing. Develops some funny notes of soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, apple juice. Quite enjoyable. Gets a little mat: chocolate, sawdust, cardboard…
restaurant Palate
starts on lots of caramel, sugar, sweet wine (young Banyuls). Gets quite toffeeish, burnt caramel, roasted beans. Medium long finish, with a pinch of salt on the tongue. Not bad at all, although I liked the sherry version better (much livelier). 79 points . Glenmorangie ‘Madeira Wood Finish’ (43%, OB, ‘stripe label’, circa 2004)
