북부 하일랜드 테인의 글렌모렌지는 가장 키 큰 증류기와 서늘한 해안 공기로 섬세한 몰트를 빚는다. 버번에서 숙성한 뒤 루비 포트 캐스크로 마무리한 12년 퀸타 루반 3판으로, 잔에는 붉은 루비빛이 감돈다. 향은 물냉이와 호두 껍질, 다즐링 홍차의 은은함이 열린다. 46도의 도수로 입안은 둥글고 달콤하며 잘 익은 바나나와 열대 과일, 생강의 스파이스가 번진다. 여운은 길게 이어지며 포트의 붉은 단맛과 가벼운 스모크가 남는다.

air Nose
very special, on watercress and walnut skin, with some notes of Darjeeling tea. Very subtle and just superb. The mouth is rounded, sweet but nervous and complex. Some nice notes of ripe bananas, fructose, tropical fruits, getting quite smoky, spicy and gingery. This one is pure pleasure
